Obituary
Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the age of 94. She is predeceased by her husband Milton Whitten; her parents Fred and Lucilla Chafe; parents-in-law, Robert and Margaret Whitten; sister Audrey (Smitty); brothers George, Raymond and Reggie; sisters-in-law Millie (Ed), Phyllis (Jack); brothers-in-law Clyde, Gordon (Dot), Jack (Edith).
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Roz (Fred White) and Ron (Carolyn Burry). Also left with special memories are her 6 loving grandchildren; Danielle, Vannessa, Emily (Eric Pike), Matthew, Noah and Jonathan; sister-in-law Agnes Whitten; as well as many nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the staff at Glenbrook Lodge for the wonderful care they gave our mom. The kindness and compassion shown to our families is appreciated more than words can say.
Cremation has taken place. As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will take place Tuesday, June 11, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Anglican Church (Torbay). Inurnment to follow at St. Nicholas Anglican Cemetery (Torbay).
