Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing on of our beloved mother and grandmother Ethel Keeping. Ethel was born on September 16, 1928, in small town Rencontre East, Fortune Bay, NL to her parents Philip and Flora (Pope) Keeping.
Leaving to mourn, her daughter Inez (Doug), the love of her life, her granddaughter Robyn (Alex) McInnis and two beautiful great granddaughters who she adored, Lilli and Karli, all residing in Prince Edward Island.
A special recognition to a beloved niece and friend, Eleanor Keeping. Her unwavering love and support will never be forgotten.
Sincere thank you to all the staff at Pleasant View Towers for their care and kindness over the last two and a half years.
Ethel was predeceased by special nephew Philip Keeping, and brothers, Cyril, Waldron, Hiram and Roy.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, June 14th. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 p. m. at The Carnell Memorial Chapell. Inurnment to follow at the Columbarium in the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations can be made in Ethel’s name to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.

I have such precious childhood memories of your mom, it’s hard to believe she’s no longer here with us.
You were always amazing with her; she couldn’t have had a more devoted and loving daughter, and she knew that. ❤
