Obituary
Passed peacefully away in the loving arms of his family. Ernest Robert Noftall at the Health Sciences Centre on June 27th, 2024, at the age of 67 years.
Ernest loved spending time with his family and would light up when they came in the room. His special love was spending time at his trailer and he loved to trout. He often told stories about trouting with his Dad. Ernest had a kind heart and would do anything for anyone.
Predeceased by his Dad, Edgar Noftall; brother Wade Noftall; and nephew Gregory Noftall.
Leaving to mourn his loving mother, Evelyn Noftall who he visited once a week and called on the phone regularly. She held a special piece of his heart. His partner of 36 years, Patricia Pearce; daughter Lisa Hillier (Tom); son Greg (Angela); grandchildren, Thomas, Jacob (Alyssa), Brook, Rachel, and Sydney; brothers Greg (Pam), Terry (Barb); sisters Tina (Steve), Sandy (Chris), Chrissy (Terry); many nieces and nephews; and his special friends Edith and Bernard, who he enjoyed going to see once a week.
Cremation has taken place.
A funeral service will be held on Monday July 1st, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Mt Pleasant Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation in Ernest’s name may be made to the NL Heart and Stroke Foundation.

So sorry to hear of Ern’s passing. My condolences to all his family. I haven’t seen him in many years but he was a good friend of our family and my kids thought he was the funniest. Rest in peace 🙏
