Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of David R Sawers announce his sudden passing on July 2, 2024.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Marion, brothers Teddy, Melvin, Gordie and Mike and sister Margie.
Leaving to mourn his loving girlfriend Tammy, brothers George and Raymond, sisters Patsy, Gina and Donna. Also a number of neices, nephews and extended family. As well as a large circle of friends and neighbors.
Dave was a one of a kind character who lived his life his way and could always be called on for a ride somewhere. He was a “Mr. Fix it” who loved to tinker and enjoy his collections of clocks, cars and flashlights. He had a great personality and at times he was even quite “super”
Cremation has taken place.
At David’s request there will be no visitation or service
A limb has fallen from our family tree that says grieve not for me…remember the good times, the love and laughter.
So sorry for your loss, David was a gentle great guy from time he was a little boy growing up in the valley

My sincere condolences to Dave’s family and friends. He was a regular customer at the store I work at, and I could always count on a friendly interaction with him. So sorry to hear of his passing, may he rest in peace.
To Dave’s brothers and sisters and their families and to Tammy. Was so shocked to hear of Dave’s passing. Dave was certainly one of a kind, he treated everyone he met with respect and kindness. He also done so much for so many people. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. May he rest in peace.
Sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. He was a nice man and did what we could for people even if he couldn’t do it for himself. He understood and accepted everyone no matter what they did or didn’t have. Dave pulled me out of a few jams and I’m sure alot of others can say the same thing. I Hope he’s having a hot cup a tea with the good lord tonight, Rest in paradise Dave, please still take care of the broken as you did on earth!
So sorry for your loss Tammy …I know that Dave is with God ..I didn’t know Dave well but the few times we talked it was about my kitty cat whom he dearly loved and often gave treats to.
So sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. Leo and I will miss all the great time we had together growing up. You were always there for everyone and a great laugh. Rest easy my friend. Until we meet again.
