Peter Dowden was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland on April 13, 1961. After graduating from Prince of Wales Collegiate in 1978, Peter attended the College of Trades and Technology where he received a Diploma as a Registered Nursing Assistant. After working at the L.A. Miller Center (1980 – 1981) and St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital (1981 – 1990), Peter came to work at Carnell’s Funeral Home in 1990 where he apprenticed as a Funeral Director and Embalmer, becoming fully licensed in 1993. Mr. Dowden resides in St. John’s with his wife Gail. He has 4 children – Michael, Mitchell, Angela and Elena, and one granddaughter – MacKenzie. When not working out, Peter likes to go for walks or just relax at home with family. |
