Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Hospital after a short illness, Thomas William Hillier, on July 18, 2010, age 87 years, resident of St. Luke's Home. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (nee Bonnell); brothers: Charles, George and Freeman; brother-in-law James Bonnell; sisters-in-law: Mary Hillier and Meta Taylor. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons: James (Betty), Edgar (Cheryl) and Baxter; four grandchildren: Stephanie, Michael, Scott and Ashley; brother Bertram (Florence); brothers-in-law: Ralph (Alma) Bonnell and Clyde (Dorothy) Bonnell; sisters-in-law: Vera Ayers and Irene Hillier. Also, a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, July 20 and Wednesday, July 21 at 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral to take place at St. Mary the Virgin Church, Craigmiller Avenue on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
